Welcome to the Ecosystem Contaminants Lab at the University of Connecticut. You will find us in the Department of Natural Resources and the Center for Environmental Science and Engineering, and on land that is the territory of the Mohegan, Mashantucket Pequot, Eastern Pequot, Schaghticoke, Golden Hill Paugussett, Nipmuc, and Lenape Peoples.*

This lab is broadly focused on the fate, flux, and consequences of chemical stressors in aquatic habitats. We work in freshwater and coastal systems but also think about the roles that migratory animals play in moving subsidies (the good and the bad) across ecosystem boundaries.

Please explore this site to learn more about our research and opportunities to join the lab.
